This will be achieved through managing a team of Directors of Operations who lead each facility and working within a matrixed functional organization. </span></p><p><span>The VP of Operations is responsible for metrics for the respective product category in the broad categories of safety, quality, on time delivery, revenue, profit, and cash flow.</span></p><p><span>This individual will also play a key decision making and operating role in developing manufacturing strategies, footprint additions and/or consolidations, major product transfers and ensuring the consistent deployment of the Integer Production System. In addition, the VP of Operations will interact with customers as necessary. </span></p><p></p><p><b><b>Accountabilities & Responsibilities:</b></b></p><ul><li>Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.</li><li>Successfully lead the Directors of Operations and other plant leadership team members to manage all factory operations including safety, quality, production, engineering, supply chain, facilities & continuous improvement activities.</li><li>Champions Integer’s Quality Policy and Vision; demonstrates a commitment to quality and “putting the patient first”; ensures adherence to Quality System and customer change control systems.</li><li>Accountable for quality standards across the Product Category; champions continuous improvement activities that improve QA/RA metrics and drives ownership of QA/RA metrics across the business.</li><li>Fosters a continuous improvement culture; driving the development of innovative and effective cost reduction programs including the development and execution on the Integer Production System and other lean initiatives.</li><li>Collaborates with colleagues to identify best practices across the organization and drives standard policies and practices across operations enterprise wide; collaborates cross functionally to ensure achievement of business goals and strategic objectives.</li><li>Along with Product Category President, leads and manages the annual budget planning process and is responsible for the achievement of the agreed upon financial goals.</li><li>Collaborates with Finance and provides in depth analysis of financial performance of manufacturing facilities, identifying risks and countermeasures, and providing over all leadership to Operations Directors in the attainment of financial targets.</li><li>Responsible for building and leading a high performing team including talent selection, development, mentoring, performance management, building bench strength and succession plans; ensure strong bench strength across operations and encourage learning and development.</li><li>Leads the planning and execution of global manufacturing capacity utilization to meet business requirements and embraces and leads all aspects of a robust S&OP process.</li><li>Develops in depth familiarity with Integer products, manufacturing technology, and capabilities across the sites.  Keeps abreast of next generation/new technology application applicable to the site. Key contributor to Integer Growth Teams and the definition of product strategy and delivery of the product and manufacturing roadmaps across the Product Category. </li><li>Collaborates with Commercial teams to ensure strong customer relationship development and management; partners on business development activities including assessment of business cases and partnership in periodic customer business reviews.</li><li>Performs other duties as required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Education & Experience:</b></b></p><ul><li><b><b>Minimum Education:</b></b> Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering or similar technical discipline. Master’s degree preferred.</li><li><b>Minimum Experience: </b><ul><li><span>8-10 years senior management experience in a manufacturing environment.  Experience in healthcare or regulated industry with multiple plant leadership preferred.</span></li><li><span>Proven track record of managing operations teams, building high-performance manufacturing organizations and delivering high quality products on time and on budget.</span></li><li><span>Proven track record of delivering results in a high-performance continuous improvement environment through implementation of and expertise with lean manufacturing methodologies. </span></li><li><span>Demonstrated business acumen with understanding of the P&L and balance sheet. </span></li><li><span>Integrity-based leader that builds trust, initiates transparency into problems, demonstrates genuine care for people.</span></li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Knowledge & Skills:</b></b></p><ul><li><b>Special Skills: </b><ul><li>Developing talent, interpersonal relations and influence, integrity, communication, customer focus.</li><li>Open to extensive travel and relocation as required.
