Role and Responsibilities of Utility Worker:

  • Support management in their pursuit of impeccable cleanliness and the proper maintenance of restaurant equipment.
  • The recommended frequency for filter changes in oil fryers is on a daily basis to maintain quality output.
  • Maintain outside grounds.
  • Keep equipment sanitized, wash windows internally and externally, organize stockroom inventory, and maintain cleanliness in restrooms.
  • Complete unloading responsibilities from the truck on a recurring basis.
  • Dispose of the rubbish by emptying the trash receptacle.
  • Change light bulbs.
  • Regularly clean HVAC and exhaust systems and remove debris from the roof to prevent obstructions.

Required Skills and Experience of Utility Worker:

  • Exhibiting a willingness to develop skills and complete tasks related to physical maintenance responsibilities.
  • Proficient teamwork skills in a fast-moving environment.
  • Consistent dedication to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to equipment standards.

Preferred Qualifications of Utility Worker:

  • Although it may be beneficial, previous maintenance or janitorial experience is not a prerequisite for this position.
  • Capable of addressing problems skillfully and showcasing strong organizational skills.
