<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Position Summary<br><br></strong>ECS is seeking a System Administrator - Senior to support the Army National Guard ENOCS program. The selected candidate will lead the sustainment of enterprise application hosting environments, ensuring the reliability and security of critical systems. This role is pivotal in maintaining optimal server performance, enforcing configuration baselines, and integrating continuous monitoring solutions. The System Administrator will play a crucial role in advising program leadership on infrastructure risks and developing strategies for lifecycle sustainment and operational resiliency within the broader enterprise program.<br><br><strong>Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.<br><br></strong><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead the administration and maintenance of enterprise servers, ensuring high availability and performance.</li><li>Oversee patch management processes to maintain system security and compliance.</li><li>Manage user accounts and enforce configuration baselines across multiple environments.</li><li>Optimize system performance and ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).</li><li>Conduct vulnerability remediation and system hardening to protect critical infrastructure.</li><li>Integrate continuous monitoring solutions to enhance system oversight and security.</li><li>Advise leadership on infrastructure risks and develop strategies for operational resiliency.</li><li>Plan for capacity needs and ensure systems are scalable to meet future demands.<br><br></li></ul>Required Skills<br><br><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Clearance: Secret Eligible required</li><li>S. Citizenship required</li><li>DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Intermediate proficiency level</li><li>Certifications (one or more required): Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP</li><li>Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration and cybersecurity operations</li><li>Expertise in Windows and Linux system administration</li><li>Demonstrated experience in vulnerability management and enterprise security operations</li><li>Proven ability in database maintenance and system builds</li><li>Experience in compliance support across multiple DoD environments<br><br></li></ul>Desired Skills<br><br><strong>Desired Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Clearance: Active Secret preferred</li><li>CompTIA Linux+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications</li><li>AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential</li><li>Experience advising on lifecycle sustainment strategies within DoD environments</li><li>Familiarity with system hardening and capacity planning in a military context<br><br></li></ul><em>ECS Federal LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis any characteristic protected by law.
