Age exception can approved by regional security director if all other qualifications are meet.<br><br>Demonstrate ability to read, write and converse clearly in English.<br><br>Customer focused and practice good telephone skills.<br><br>Practice normal hygiene and personal cleanliness, neat in dress and appearance.<br><br>High school education or equivalent.<br><br>Completed state certification and licensing, as required.<br><br>Satisfactory completion of initial drug test, criminal background check, motor vehicle record check (as appropriate), and annual first aid/CPR/AED certification.<br><br>Minimum one (1) year prior Security Officer Experience. Previous law enforcement or military experience may substitute for previous security officer experience.<br><br><strong>Requirements Of Position<br><br></strong>Safeguard Bank’s personnel, assets and property.<br><br>Identify employees and other authorized personnel entering Bank buildings or departments.<br><br>Screen visitors, maintenance / construction workers, vendors, couriers and other personnel by confirming their entry is authorized.<br><br>Ensure property passes or other authorization accompanies personnel leaving with equipment or packages.<br><br>Respond to emergency conditions within assigned building or department and take corrective action at the direction of supervisors.<br><br>Enforce all post orders respective to the assignment and conform to the articles covered in the general orders.<br><br>Assist customers, employees, visitors, emergency responders and others as required.<br><br>Patrol Bank premises.<br><br>Prepare incident reports detailing all information and actions taken to address conditions or emergencies.<br><br><strong>Veterans<br><br></strong>Inter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
