About the Role Our client is advancing an enterprise-wide data strategy to enable profitable growth, operational excellence, and brand elevation through trusted data, modern platforms, and AI-enabled decision-making. The Program Manager, Enterprise Data Strategy & Transformation owns the end-to-end orchestration of the enterprise Data Strategy program. This role ensures that multiple interdependent initiatives, workstreams, and partners deliver cohesive business outcomes aligned to strategic priorities, funding, and executive intent. Operating above individual projects, this role provides strategic direction, dependency and risk management, value realization oversight, and executive governance—while partnering closely with Project Managers responsible for day-to-day execution. What You'll Do Program Leadership & Strategy Alignment Own the enterprise Data Strategy program roadmap, integrating initiatives across: Data platform modernization Data governance and operating models Data products and domain enablement Analytics, AI/ML, and decision intelligence Translate business strategy and executive priorities into sequenced, funded program roadmaps with clear outcomes and success measures. Ensure alignment between business value, architectural direction, and delivery capacity. Portfolio & Dependency Management Oversee a portfolio of interrelated initiatives, ensuring: Visibility and resolution of cross-project dependencies Consistent delivery standards and operating cadence Balanced sequencing across data, technology, security, and business readiness Identify systemic risks, trade-offs, and bottlenecks; drive resolutions with functional leaders. Partner with Project Managers to remove escalated blockers and resolve cross-team conflicts. Value Realization & Benefits Management Own the program-level value case, including: Value hypotheses and KPIs Baseline vs. realized benefits tracking Adoption, usage, and decision-impact metrics Ensure initiatives are designed for measurable business outcomes, not just technical delivery. Course-correct investments based on realized value, changing priorities, or capacity constraints. Governance, Operating Model & Standards Establish and lead program governance, including: Executive steering committees Investment and prioritization forums Architecture, data governance, and security alignment checkpoints Define and standardize program delivery frameworks, metrics, reporting, and escalation paths. Ensure strong alignment across Data, IT, Security, and Business teams, with security and privacy embedded by design. Executive & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary executive-facing owner of the Data Strategy program. Provide clear, outcome-focused communications on program health, risks, trade-offs, and progress against strategic objectives. Facilitate enterprise-level decision-making where priorities conflict. Build strong partnerships with senior leaders across Business, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Security. Financial & Investment Oversight Own program-level financial management, including: Multi-year investment planning and sequencing Budget allocation across initiatives Vendor strategy and spend optimization Ensure funding decisions align to value delivery and enterprise priorities. Change, Adoption & Capability Building Ensure the program delivers sustainable organizational change, not point solutions. Oversee enterprise change efforts related to: Operating model evolution Data ownership and stewardship adoption New platforms, tools, and decision processes Partner with change management, communications, and enablement teams to drive adoption at scale. Qualifications Required 10-15+ years of experience leading large-scale data, analytics, or digital transformation programs in complex enterprise environments. Proven success managing multi-project portfolios with shared dependencies and senior executive visibility. Strong understanding of: Enterprise data platforms and architectures Data governance and operating models Analytics, AI/ML enablement, and value measurement Exceptional executive communication and influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to align Business, IT, Security, Legal, Finance, and external partners. Preferred Experience in retail, wholesale, consumer, or luxury environments. Exposure to modern cloud-based data platforms and governance tools. Background in enterprise operating model or transformation initiatives. Relevant certifications (e.g., PgMP, PMP, SAFe LPM, Prosci, or equivalent). Technology Environment

For this position, the base salary pay range is $100/hr to $125/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
