Fifth Third Bank is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales/Telesales Representative to support the growth of their small and mid-sized business customer base. This role is responsible for outbound prospecting, relationship development, and sales of DTS Connex’s SaaS-based cash management and retail operations platform, along with related consumable products used in day-to-day store operations.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calling and targeted outreach to cash-intensive businesses including: Specialty retail, Restaurants, Convenience stores, Grocery, Hospitality, Franchise organizations
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within small and mid-market accounts
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outreach and follow-up activity
  • Schedule discovery meetings and solution discussions for senior sales executives when appropriate
  • Promote and position DTS Connex solutions including: SaaS-based cash management and operational platforms, Cash visibility and reporting solutions, Smart safe and cash automation technologies, Managed operational services, Retail and POS operational workflow solutions, Store-level operational efficiency tools
  • Help customers understand how DTS Connex solutions can: improve cash accountability, streamline store operations, reduce shrink and loss exposure, improve labor efficiency, and provide operational visibility across locations
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities for the broader sales organization
  • Independently manage smaller transactional and SMB opportunities
  • Transition larger, multi-location, strategic, or technically complex opportunities to senior sales representatives
  • Support senior sales staff with: account research, customer follow-up, quoting, pipeline development, and sales coordination activities
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities within HubSpot
  • Track sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasting updates
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service, and senior sales leadership to ensure smooth onboarding and customer support

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3 - 5 years of inside sales, telesales, business development, or customer-facing sales experience
  • Strong communication and phone-based selling skills
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold calling
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain customer relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Experience selling SaaS, recurring revenue solutions, or operational services
  • Experience selling into retail, restaurant, grocery, hospitality, or franchise organizations
  • Familiarity with cash management products
  • Familiarity with retail operations
  • Familiarity with POS-related products/services
  • Familiarity with operational consumables
  • Familiarity with multi-location retail operations
  • Experience supporting field sales or enterprise sales teams
