Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Qlik Sense Developer to join our growing data and analytics team. This mid-level role is ideal for someone with a strong background in business intelligence, particularly within the automotive industry, and hands-on experience working with Dealer Management System (DMS) data, phone data and CRM data. You will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and modernizing Qlik applications, including migrating existing solutions from Qlik Sense Enterprise (on-prem) to Qlik Cloud. This role requires a customer-focused mindset, technical expertise, and flexibility to support business needs across different timeframes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and applications to support business operations and decision-making
  • Lead and support migration efforts from Qlik Sense on-prem (Qlik Prem) to Qlik Cloud
  • Integrate and model data from automotive DMS platforms and other enterprise systems
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
  • Optimize data models, load scripts, and application performance
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting environments
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing Qlik applications
  • Work cross-functionally with IT, analytics, and business teams to deliver high-impact insights

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Qlik Sense development
  • Proven experience in the automotive industry, specifically working with DMS data
  • Experience migrating or porting applications from Qlik Sense Enterprise (on-prem) to Qlik Cloud
  • Strong proficiency in Qlik scripting, data modeling, and visualization best practices
  • Experience with data integration from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, flat files, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern BI architectures
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and security in Qlik Cloud
  • Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of additional BI tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL advanced analytics)
