Providing customer service, physical security checks, and investigating suspicious or unsafe circumstances. Heavy public contact, including potentially dangerous or suspicious individuals. 100% field facing.<br><br><strong>Main Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Provide security field operations in a proactive, effective manner with an emphasis on customer service.</li><li>Maintain engagement on security priorities at all times.</li><li>Provide effective responses to security related activities, incidents, inquires, suspicious circumstances and emergencies.</li><li>Coordinate with Security Leadership on expectations, priorities, and implement solutions as needed.</li><li>Ensure all security assignments are executed at all times.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate effectively with the leadership on site.</li><li>Line management-blocking off hazardous areas, directing traffic.</li><li>Create professional, well written incident reports for all security incidents.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Environment<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced organization, coordinating and managing multiple tasks.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance of standards and training.</li><li>Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.</li><li>Ability to work at times with minimal supervision.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing for communication effectively with all levels of</li><li>Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.</li><li>Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.</li><li>Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>High School Diploma, with some college credits, (preferably Associate degree), or equivalent combination of education and work experience.</li><li>Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in security, customer service, or a closely related role.</li><li>Strong computer and systems skills, including office software, access management, CCTV, alarm systems, and incident reporting.</li><li>Must be 21 years of age.</li><li>Valid Driver’s License</li><li>Speak, read, and write English</li><li>Must be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment.</li><li>Must possess above average computer skills and must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the of assignment to perform security officer duties.</li><li>Pass a background check</li><li>Pass a 5-panel drug test</li><li>CPR Certification, we help get you certified<br><br></li></ul><strong>Veterans<br><br></strong>Inter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
