<h2>Overview</h2> <p>Waters Corporation's Field Services Organization is comprised of highly skilled, motivated and customer-focused professionals that are technical experts on Waters’ product suite.  Within the field services organization is an elite group of Principal Systems Specialists who have technical expertise across all Waters’ product suite.  As a Principal Systems Specialist working for an industry leader, you will be committed to ensuring Waters’ legendary service for our customers who utilize our scientific instrumentation and software as well as provide mentoring for our field service engineers.  In this role, you'll have the opportunity to provide high level technical expertise on Waters' innovative product suite (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, TOF MS) for multiple customer laboratories spanning across the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences, Chemical Materials, Clinical, Food, Environmental, Forensics, Academia and Government industries.</p> <p> </p> <p>Waters Corporation is seeking a Principal Systems Specialist who will provide high level support to customers and field service engineers in the DE/PA west/ NJ south area.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with external and internal customers ensuring their success</li> <li>Provide extensive technical support and system level troubleshooting</li> <li>Manage and drive resolution for challenging customer situations in conjunction with the Field Service Engineer</li> <li>Manage customer expectations by communicating work performed and providing follow-up plan if needed</li> <li>Act as a coach and systems expert for our Prep, SFC Field Service Engineers</li> <li>Ensure customer compliance regulations are followed</li> <li>Deliver system level training at customer sites</li> <li>Manage service inventory according to Waters policies</li> <li>Issue field service reports daily to document work performed</li> <li>Maintain sound knowledge regarding the technology and customers' application demands</li> <li>Work with Sales team with respect to identifying future business development opportunities and needs for Waters solutions</li> <li>Ensure that quality system procedures and Health & Safety standards are always adhered to</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Education:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, engineering or other science related field </li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Experience:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Waters’ product suite (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, Prep, SFC, Informatics) conducting advanced installation, troubleshooting and support</li> <li>Strong Applications knowledge is desired</li> <li>Understanding of the scientific application workflow along with the scientific software systems </li> <li>Overnight travel as required, including international travel for training</li> <li>Valid Driver's License in good standing is mandatory<strong><u>Skills:</u></strong></li> <li> Must possess a strong customer focus</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Interpersonal savvy, communicating with different expertise levels appropriately and changing your approach to meet customers’ needs</li> <li>Personal sense of integrity and trust</li> <li>Effective time management skills</li> <li>Advanced system level approach to problem solving</li> <li>Analytical mindset with a strong drive to resolve open issues</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills                                                                 #LI-Remote </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <h2>Company Description</h2> <p>Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT)  is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, dedicated to accelerating the benefits of pioneering science through analytical technologies, informatics, and service.
