Job Overview: Speakers is seeking a Manager to support all facets of its division, which manages a wide range of in-person and virtual speaking engagements for clients across sports, media and entertainment. This position will be responsible for assisting with event logistics, contracting, marketing, website maintenance, sales, operations, administrative functions, and overall initiatives to support the long-term growth of the division. What You’ll Do Reviewing and preparing offers to present to clients and drafting agreements Tracking contracts, invoices, expenses, and status of payments; managing necessary follow-ups Coordinating travel logistics (including flights, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations) for clients and preparing highly detailed event briefings for speaking engagements Liaising with customers on details such as event timelines, clients’ on-site responsibilities, scripts, prep calls, A/V checks, and signings, while providing high-level customer service Attaining speaking footage from events and identifying materials for speaking reels Maintaining, tracking, updating, and attaining approval of assets for website, including bios, photos, videos, and speech topics Drafting and editing client bios, decks, marketing materials, e-mail blasts, website and social media content, news articles, and other communications Maintaining and updating database records for speakers and buyers Day-to-day management of the Wasserman Speakers’ social platforms Supporting sales outreach & research and creating tracking spreadsheets including identifying existing and emerging speakers as potential clients Working collaboratively with other divisions, agents, and colleagues across the company to holistically grow Wasserman Speakers What We’re Looking For Bachelor's Degree At least two years of experience (ideally in administrative assistance, communications, events, sports marketing, or sales) Exceptional communication skills (writing will be an integral part of this role) and attention to detail Skilled in Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn new technology. Proficiency in CRM systems, web design software and Adobe Creative Suite a plus. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously Ability to anticipate problems, troubleshoot and manage expectations Strong understanding of social/digital media Entrepreneurial, flexible, and willing to take on additional responsibilities to ensure the ongoing growth of the division A commitment to teamwork and relationship-building internally and externally An interest in sports, media, entertainment and pop culture and a commitment to staying informed of current events and emerging trends Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations. Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment, and significant initiative. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Base salary range: $70k - $75k, plus bonus potential if applicable for role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
