<h2>Position Overview</h2> <p><strong>Power your future with Qualus</strong> as a Manager, Corporate Development in our M&A Department! This position will assist in the origination, evaluation and execution of the mergers and acquisitions for Qualus. Additionally, this individual will play a critical role in continuing the development of short- and long-term strategy surrounding the organic and inorganic growth of Qualus.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>M&A and other inorganic activity in close collaboration with the C-Suite and other relevant corporate stakeholders, working with direct and cross functional teams throughout the </li> <li>Producing and presenting investment recommendations for review by senior executives and board </li> <li>Executing and assisting with the due diligence and deal execution process; including negotiations and management of cross-functional teams and outside advisors.</li> <li>Driving the execution of a transformational M&A agenda across multiple business lines.</li> <li>Involvement with mission-critical strategy initiatives, working directly with the C-suite.</li> <li>Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to deliver data‑driven insights that support strategic decision‑making and drive business performance.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>3-5 years of M&A experience (investment banking/private equity, corporate M&A or transaction advisory services)</li> <li>While not required, the ideal candidate has spent the bulk of their investment banking/corporate development experience in the engineering, infrastructure, utility or broader industrial sectors.</li> <li>Analytical, methodical and rigorous approach; ability to independently take apart complex business issues, perform research and analyses, synthesize conclusions into a value-maximizing business strategy.</li> <li>The ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and quickly form a hypothesis against which to run test analyses as well as the ability to present complex concepts/ideas in concise, easy-to- understand terms.</li> <li>The ability to communicate effectively with executive- level and cross-functional teams, both verbally and in writing.</li> <li>Show high levels of empathy, strong communication skills, and an appetite for feedback. The ability to work both individually and manage/lead team members across business units, as well as being an honest broker and objective sounding board, is crucial to the success of this individual.</li> <li>Skilled in prioritizing a large number of initiatives.
