About the Position Reporting to the Impact Coordinator, the Impact Intern will be assigned tasks to assist Restore’s outcome data collection. This is an unpaid part-time position that enhances a student’s experience, requiring a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week. To effectively carry out their assigned tasks given their flexible schedule, the Impact Intern will consult with and work collaboratively with the Impact Coordinator, the Director of Impact and Evaluation, and Restore program staff. Specific Responsibilities <ul style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Impact data monitoring, entry, scoring, and cleaning, contributing to a variety of data products released by Restore, including its annual gratitude report, grant reporting, reports to the field, external workshops, and presentations at conferences. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Collaborate with the Impact and Evaluation team to develop, plan, and/or implement new or ongoing evaluation-related projects and initiatives, such as coordinating the data collection of Restore’s quarterly client satisfaction survey, administering post-service impact assessment, and participating in other short-term studies. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Depending on the intern’s interests, learning goals, and research competencies, the intern may also be assigned other tasks related to analyzing quantitative or qualitative data, reviewing literature, and/or drafting reports or conference proposals. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Depending on staff capacity, the intern may be required to conduct survivor impact assessments or surveys to understand better the impact of our services on survivor freedom, over the phone. </li> </ul> Requirements <ul style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> A current student with demonstrated passion for social justice and deep commitment to the healing and well-being of survivors of trafficking. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with databases. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Ability to quickly learn and proficiently utilize diverse technologies and systems. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Emotional maturity and demonstrated discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Deep commitment and personal accountability to results. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Proven ability to deliver results, a natural self-starter who is comfortable working independently. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on direct and open communication and provision of regular feedback. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced, outcomes-driven and entrepreneurial environment. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Demonstrated commitment to self-awareness and engagement of continuous learning around issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Proxima Nova', sans-serif; margin-left: -18pt;"> Spanish fluency is a plus. </li> </ul> Compensation This is an unpaid part-time position that enhances a student’s experience, requiring a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week.
