Role Description

The role of the Consolidation & Reporting Accounting Manager is to supervise, monitor and evaluate the overall accounting activities related to the production of accurate US GAAP financial statements for WME Group by both legal entity and business. This includes:

  • Completion of quarterly financial statements including equity roll and cash flow.
  • Audited yearly financials inclusive of footnotes.
  • Performing varied accounting and analysis activities of a complex nature.

The Manager will provide leadership to other accounting team members and help set a tone of strong internal controls and timeliness in financial reporting within the global finance function. The individual will identify value-added opportunities to better serve the businesses and senior management, including:

  • Identifying opportunities and making recommendations for overall department performance improvement.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Manage and oversee the monthly and quarterly compilation of financial statements at the Consolidated Reporting level and lender group level.
  • Act as business lead for the BPC Consolidations system.
  • On-going maintenance, ad hoc reporting, developing new reports and trainings.
  • Monitor and oversee the preparation of monthly reporting packs for use in consolidated footnote preparation.
  • Review information compiled for various financial analyses.
  • Support internal and external audit of financial processes and statements.
  • Oversee a team of professionals.
  • Key member in transition to new operational and consolidation software.
  • Special projects as assigned (e.g., integration of newly acquired businesses, ad hoc analysis, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or MBA in Accounting or Finance (CPA not required if MBA).
  • Previous Management experience required.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong technical or operational accounting background and research skills (US GAAP).
  • Experience working with multinational companies.
  • Excellent communication and relations building skills.
  • Ability to proactively work in teams with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with high level of responsibility and ownership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of financial systems, statements, and reports.
  • Proven accomplishments as a project lead.
  • Experience with software integration preferred.

  • Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience.

Benefits

  • Hiring Rate Minimum: $97,500 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds).
  • Hiring Rate Maximum: $130,000 annually.
