Dishwasher – Part-Time (Evening Shift)

You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and understand that every role in Dining Services contributes to the experience of the residents we serve.

Schedule:

  • Part-Time
  • Evening Shift: 1:30 PM – 8:00 PM
  • 3–4 shifts per week
  • Includes 2 weekend shifts weekly

A Day in the Life:

  • Operate the dishwashing machine and hand-wash items like pots, pans, and large kitchen tools
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all kitchen work areas and equipment
  • Follow correct chemical handling and temperature guidelines to ensure food safety
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and trash throughout the shift
  • Clean and organize dish storage areas, shelving, and kitchen floors
  • Assist with deep cleaning tasks at the end of each shift
  • Support team members and communicate kitchen needs or concerns to leadership
  • Ensure your work area is safe, well-stocked, and operating efficiently

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Must meet vaccination and TB screening requirements
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
