Duties include: Lead UHG's cloud FinOps and Optimization; Develop and implement a long-term product portfolio vision and strategy that maximizes the financial viability of UHG's cloud strategy, focusing on efficient cost management and performance optimization; Partner with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to ensure strategic alignment, secure necessary prioritization, and overcome obstacles to meet cloud financial goals; Oversee the execution of both short- and long-term product strategies that drive cloud cost savings and enhance accountability for cloud usage across the organization; Foster collaboration across product teams, driving the development of common, reusable cloud strategies, and delivering enterprise-wide efficiencies in IT delivery; Provide expert insight into cloud-native versus traditional architectures, including their benefits, life cycle implications, and vendor-specific differentiation; Leverage in-depth knowledge of GCP, Azure, and AWS, understanding how cloud services are deployed, utilized, and modified for optimal cost-efficiency; Guide the engineering and build decisions for cloud technologies, focusing on price and performance trade-offs; and Develop and implement day-two strategies for maximizing cloud application value and driving long-term cost efficiencies.
