Job Description Must be a U.S. Citizen for badging We are currently looking for Cold Fusion Developer MUST HAVE • Cold Fusion • MS SQL GOOD TO HAVE • ASP.Net MVC • C# • Vue JS • MS SQL4.Webpack • Node JS Responsibilities • Translate NASA organization and customer needs into functional, appealing, and interactive web applications • Collaborate with leads, project managers, developers, content writers and customers in a professional, clear, and friendly manner • Maintain and develop websites and interactive experiences with a range of libraries, APIs, web services and frameworks • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for websites built with Visual Studio, .NET, MVC Framework, Javascript, VUE.js, SQL Server • Experience with ColdFusion Development • Continuously learn new frameworks, techniques and standards, research tools and design options for new web applications • Engage in solution driven discussions to identify technologies and designs that support the customer’s vision • Work as part of a team of professionals to collaboratively develop and maintain websites that inform the public, NASA employees and contractors of NASA’s missions, history and the amazing science and engineering that makes it happen Experience + Skill Requirements • 3 - 5 years of professional web development experience • Experience with code versioning best practices, Application Lifecycle Management Tool(s) (Azure DevOps) and takes pride in clean code practices • Experience developing websites and debugging legacy code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) • Knowledge and experience with SQL, relational databases, object-oriented programming • Experience in modern front-end build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Node, npm, etc.) • Knowledge and experience with front-end libraries • Experience with RESTful or SOAP • Experience creating wireframes and mock-ups • Embraces modern web development architectures • Experience with Agile development practices is preferred • A link to a portfolio or sample work, if available Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
