<strong>The Arc of Greater Prince William/INSIGHT, Inc, a respected non-profit provider of residential, recreation, and day services for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), is seeking a Childcare Teacher Aide (Summer Only) at our Robert Day Childcare Center located at 9208 Centreville, Rd, Manassas, VA 20110 </strong><strong>.The <strong>schedule</strong> is seasonal summer only full-time Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm,</strong><strong><strong> 40 hours/week, $16.00/hour for the summer while the children are out of school. R</strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>obert Day Child Care Center is located </strong></strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>at 9208 Centreville, Rd, Manassas, VA 20110<br></strong></strong></strong><p></p><p>1.  Assists the Program Leader in the planning, development and implementation of one of the classrooms at the child care center.</p><p>2.   Responsible for the safety and well-being of the children in the assigned classrooms.</p><p>3.   Responsible for the insuring licensing requirements is being met at all times.</p><p>4.  Serves as a role model for the children.</p><p>5.  Helps the children in their self-care requirements.</p><p>6.  Works directly with the children in implementing the Center’s program.</p><p>7.   Responsible for routine cleanliness of the classroom and the Center as required.</p><p>8.  Performs other such duties as may be required of the position as assigned by the Program Director and/or Supervisors.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p><p>Complete all new employee trainings.   Establish a good rapport with the children.  Establish and maintain a good working relationship with co-workers.  Staff shall be capable of communicating effectively both orally and in writing as applicable to the job responsibility.   Staff is capable of effectively communicating with emergency personnel.</p><p> <strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>1.  Must be at least 16 years of age.</p><p>2.  Must have taken Infection Control training and/or retraining.</p><p>3.  Must satisfactorily complete required annual training hours as specified by Licensing Standards.</p><p> </p><p>Physical Qualifications</p><p> </p><p>Free of TB in the communicable form.</p><p> </p><p>Physically be able to lift children to changing table or to lower children to changing mat on floor.</p><p> </p><p>Able to assist children with evacuation.</p><p> </p><p>Able to assist children in wheelchairs.</p><p> </p><p>Able to communicate effectively with children.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>We offer a competitive benefits package to include Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance options.
