Job Description:

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Certified Workday professional with strong hands-on payroll experience to support a payroll-focused organization. This is not an implementation role — the system is already live.

The immediate priority is to:

  • Resolve post-payroll clean-up items
  • Build custom reports and dashboards
  • Stabilize payroll workflows

Once processes are optimized, this role will transition into owning biweekly payroll processing within Workday.

This is a remote, independent role reporting directly to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1: Stabilization & Reporting

  • Address post-payroll cleanup tasks and reconcile discrepancies
  • Identify root causes of payroll issues and implement corrections
  • Build and customize Workday reports for internal stakeholders
  • Develop payroll-focused dashboards for leadership visibility
  • Optimize existing payroll workflows within Workday
  • Configure and adjust time off plans and system security as needed

Phase 2: Payroll Ownership

  • Run biweekly payroll within Workday
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
  • Maintain payroll audit controls and documentation
  • Partner with leadership to improve payroll efficiency and reporting

Candidate Profile

Required

  • Workday Pro Certification (required)
  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday payroll experience
  • Strong experience processing U.S. payroll within Workday
  • Working knowledge of Canada payroll regulations and processing requirements
  • Experience managing payroll post-processing adjustments and reconciliations
  • Advanced custom report writing and dashboard creation in Workday
  • Experience configuring time off plans and security roles
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
  • Self-directed and highly responsive
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Availability between 10am–8pm EST (flexible within this window)

  • Prior remote work experience
  • Advanced payroll compliance knowledge across multiple jurisdictions

Compensation

Monthly compensation ranges from ₱41,898 – ₱46,554, depending on experience, scope, and availability. Final compensation will be aligned during the matching process.
