You have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.<br><br><strong>About the role</strong><br><br>We're looking for a<strong> Billing Operations Manager to join our Revenue Accounting team. </strong>This individual contributor role will support Canva's Enterprise customers through accurate, timely, and customer-first billing operations-owning the invoicing process end-to-end and resolving billing inquiries with care and precision. You'll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance Systems to ensure a seamless billing experience from contract to cash.<br><br>This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a strong operational mindset, and is excited to collaborate cross-functionally to scale billing systems and workflows. You'll also play a key role in major transformation initiatives-including the Salesforce CPQ redesign and Zuora implementation-that will set the foundation for how we bill at scale.<br><br><strong>What you'll do</strong><br><br><ul><li>Execute day-to-day billing operations for Enterprise sales, including invoice generation, customer onboarding and billing adjustments.</li><li>Respond to customer billing inquiries and resolve issues thoughtfully, delivering a high-quality billing experience.</li><li>Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Customer Success, and Finance Systems to ensure billing accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Contribute to systems transformation, including our Salesforce CPQ redesign and Zuora implementation.</li><li>Help design and document scalable, repeatable billing workflows as Canva expands across products, geographies, and customer segments.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Maintain strong documentation and uphold billing policies, controls, and audit-readiness standards.</li></ul><br><strong>What we're looking for</strong><br><ul><li>Experience in<strong> billing, order management, revenue operations, </strong>or a similar operational finance role, ideally in<strong> SaaS or a high-growth tech company.</strong></li><li>Familiarity with quote-to-cash systems; experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zuora is a strong plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain billing details clearly to both internal teams and external customers.</li><li>Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>A collaborative, proactive approach and a desire to improve systems and processes.</li><li>A customer-first mindset-balancing operational accuracy with exceptional customer service.</li></ul><br><strong>What's in it for you?</strong><br><br>Achieving our crazy big goals motivates us to work hard - and we do - but you'll experience lots of moments of magic, connectivity and fun woven throughout life at Canva, too.
